His Eminence Venerable Dekhung Gyaltsey Tulku Rinpoche.

Gyalwang Karmapa) and Drupkhong Meditation Centre (started by H.E. the Third Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche).
Rinpoche-la is currently the representative of H. H. the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje in Australia. He tirelessly dedicates his times between Australia, Sikkim (India), Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and New Zealand and benefits many by teaching extensively and overseeing numerous International Kagyu Monlam programs.
Rinpoche is also the Spiritual Director of Kadri Bodhi Monastery in Sydney.
Our Lineage:
We follow the 900-year-old Karma Kagyu Lineage in Tibetan Buddhism where a great emphasis is placed on the continuity of oral instructions passed on from master to student. The Kagyu Lineage traces its origin back to the historic Buddha, Shakyamuni and Marpa Lotsawa, the great translator and yogi, who brought the unbroken lineage from India to Tibet and hence, this great Golden Rosary tradition still continues to our present time with H. H. the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje.
This Dharma Project will enable many people to attain long term Buddhist Dharma practice and meditation formatted in traditional Tibetan training and learning.
However this pure motivation completely relies on the kindness and generosity of donors, volunteers and friends like you.
Acquiring the land to establish the centre Karma Yiwong Samten Ling (natural, beautiful place of meditation) has been completed thus initiating a permanent physical presence of Buddhist Dharma in Australia with an aspiration of benefiting a larger section of people through the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
There is no greater practice, no greater accumulation of merits, no greater generosity and no greater means of accomplishment than to bring happiness, true peace and harmony for all the people of the world.
My dear friends, I welcome all of your help in this noble undertaking.
Yours in the Dharma
Venerable Dekhung Gyaltsey Tulku Rinpoche
